FIELD: heat treatment.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an installation for local quenching of shafts by high frequency currents. The installation for local quenching of shafts by high frequency currents contains a loop inductor with an inductive wire and a rotor in the form of disk with holes for the shafts. The rotor is mounted with a capability to be turned for installation of the shafts coaxially to the inductor. The installation has a source of current connected with the inductor, levers, a control unit and a pusher with a micrometer screw mounted coaxially to the inductor. The control unit is made in the form of a camshaft with a capability to adjust the phases of the cams turning and is linked with the levers. The rotor has a drive of turning, that has an indexing disk with a fixing arm mounted coaxially to the rotor, and mounting bushings for the shafts with grooves. A ring type spring is located in the grooves. The grooves wire of the inductor is made in the form of a two-stage bushing with a groove, in which screening device is placed. The invention will allow to increase productivity and quality of quenching and to reduce power inputs.
EFFECT: increased productivity and quality of quenching and reduced power inputs.
