FIELD: deicing systems; heat control of ground-based parabolic antennas.

SUBSTANCE: bottom part of reflector is fanned with hot air flowing in direction orthogonal to its rear surface. Hot-air fan is mounted in bottom part of reflector so that air flow is passed in direction orthogonal to its rear surface. Power voltage regulator newly introduced in switching unit of control system is coupled with temperature transducers.

EFFECT: simplified design; enhanced effectiveness of deicing process.
