FIELD: electrical connectors organizing connection/disconnection systems for conducting tracks of flexible conducting circuits.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device available in more than one alternative is used to connect/disconnect conducting tracks of flexible PCB conducting circuits provided with respective set of contacts dispensing with soldering, compression, and welding operations or long-time pre-connection treatment of flexible circuit. According to one of alternatives, device has at least one spring-loaded contact provided in cover, at least one revolving cam, and base with circuit alignment aperture for aligning flexible conducting circuit inserted in connector. Cover and base are snapping together to enclose revolving cams. With at least one cam used, circuit is pushed to its slit, then cap turns for bringing circuit in contact with spring-loaded contact having beveled insulating surface thereby establishing connection.
EFFECT: reduced cost, facilitated assembly, enhanced reliability of connection made with gas-tight seal.
