MOBILE MILKING UNIT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: mobile milking unit has platform movable on wheels over cow barn floor and on supporting rollers along guide. Mounted on platform are milking units, milk buckets, washing liquid tanks and sprayers, valves for connecting annular frame of milking unit to vacuum pipeline and of milking units, milk buckets, washing liquid tanks to annular frame. Platform is fed to milking position and connected to vacuum pipeline with following milking of animals. Upon completion of animals milking procedure, platform is moved to following milking units. After completion of milking animals standing in stalls of first row, annular frame is pivotally moved and lowered with its supporting rollers onto guide of second row stalls, followed by fixing annular frame in operating position by means of retainers. Platform is moved along second row stalls in opposite direction and operating cycle is repeated. Upon completion of milking procedure, platform is positioned into central passage of cow barn and milk buckets are connected to milk pipeline. After completion of milk pumping out operation, milking units and milk buckets are connected to washing system to provide circulation washing of milk pipelines, milk buckets and milking units.

EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified construction and operation, and reduced power consumption.
