FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: drainage for treating glaucoma contains polyvinyl alcohol and cytostatic as mitomycin "C" at the following ratios of components, weight/mg: polyvinyl alcohol 1.0-2.0, mitomycin "C" 0.015-0.2. The suggested drainage enables to achieve prolonged stabilization of intraocular pressure for this preparation is in operational wound for a long time. Small dosage of this preparation of 0.015-0.2 mg acting for 1-2 mo enables to remove toxic action of the preparation and, simultaneously, achieve prolong hypotensive effect due to prophylaxis of scar fusions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
