METHOD FOR TREATING ALCOHOLIC ADDICTION BY THE SYSTEM OF CONSCIOUSLY MEDIATED AUTOSUGGESTION "CMA SYSTEM" Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, psychotherapy.

SUBSTANCE: analysis of anamnesis and peculiarities of patient's personality is carried out, rational psychotherapy and suggestive impact should be conducted. During rational psychotherapy patient chooses and formulates with the help of psychotherapeutist an autosuggestion formula consisted of four words-qualities. Doctor by applying a suggestive type of education carries out the first seance of heteroautotraining recorded to audiocassette. At the first seance by achieving the state of relaxation patient is suggested to pronounce an autosuggestion formula at simultaneous imagination of total abstainer's image. For relaxation one should apply relaxing music, and during pronouncing autosuggestion formula - life-asserting and optimistic music. During 3 d after awakening and before bedtime patient should conduct seances of heteroautotraining with the help of audiocassette of the first seance. On the fourth day a doctor should perform an additional seance of heteroautotraining. In the course of the next 5 d patient should conduct about 3 seances of heteroautotraining daily with the help of audiocassettes. Beginning since the first seance of heteroautotraining patient-enhances the value of actions conducted and for this purpose two containers should be applied. One of them contains an ampoule with 10.0 ml 0.9%-sodium chloride, and another contains an ampoule with 10 ml 10%-calcium chloride named "Water of life" and "Water of death", correspondingly. Patient places "Water of life" container under the palm of his leading hand. "Water of death" container - under another hand. During carrying out each seance patient with mental notion of the meaning of every word-quality from autosuggestion formula squeezes "Water of life" container in his fist. At shifting an accent of aims towards negative attitude to the use of alcoholic drinks he should squeeze "Water of death" container. At the end of each seance patient should open an ampoule with sodium chloride solution to dissolve it in 100 ml drinking water and sips the obtained solution slowly at simultaneous pronouncing his autosuggestion formula, and the content of the ampoule with calcium chloride solution he pours into the bottle with strong alcoholic drink prepared beforehand. At the end of the 9^th d a doctor should perform final seance of heteroautotraining to orient the patient to positive of sobriety and temperance on the one hand, and to the negative of drinking strong alcoholic drinks on the other hand. Instead of "Water of life" container at final stage patient should apply the third container named "The word" with an ampoule of 10 ml 1%-dioxidine solution, as for autosuggestion formula it should be substituted to that of the pledge - "conscious soberness during a year". Immediately after the final seance patient should perform a ritual of self-coding, for this purpose he pours not more than 50 ml of drink from the bottom with alcoholic drink to which he poured the content of ampoules of "Water of death" container, opens an ampoule with dioxidine solution, pours it into this vial and rinse his throat with the solution obtained, then he pronounces the formula of pledge and simultaneously pours the rest drink out of the bottle.
