FIELD: welding systems, namely with use of apparatuses for evacuating vessels in which vacuum creation and reservation are realized due to welding up evacuation hole in welding chamber of electron-beam installation, possibly in machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: evacuation apparatus is in the form of reservoir with evacuating hole under which welding gasket is placed. Said reservoir is placed in working chamber of electron-beam installation. Welding backing is arranged with gap between working chamber and lower edge of evacuation hole. Opening of backing has effective cross section area no less than that of evacuation hole and no more than 1.5 areas of evacuation hole.
EFFECT: enhanced design providing significantly reduced time period for evacuation and sealing vessel, shortened period of high-cost operation of electron-beam installation.
