FIELD: railway transport; railway signaling and communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for interval traffic control. Proposed automatic block signal system contains track side and cab devices. When head of train gets to following track circuit, cab receiver receives signal before tail of train leaves preceding track circuit. When said signal is received, pulses from axial track pickup are supplied to input f counter. If preset length of train owing to adjusting jumpers corresponds to that recorded by track pickup. Locomotive generator is kept constantly on. If signal point is passed with generator on, passing of train in full size is fixed. So clearing of block section is checked.
EFFECT: improved reliability of internal traffic control.
