FIELD: railroad transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad equipment, particularly to automatics and telemetry circuits intended for spacing regulation of trains traffic. The method of transmitting data to rolling stock consists in transmitting code pulses to track circuits after there are occupied. Note that the method comprises a compulsory installation of electronic code-line transmitter at the position whereat the first code cycle "КЖ", "Ж", "З" is transmitted to the track circuits starting from the long spacing. The proposed device comprises electronic code-line transmitter (14) incorporating pulse transducer made up of an AC power supply and Schmidt trigger (27), transformer (26), counters (28 and 30), logical AND elements (29, 31, 33, 34). Additionally it incorporates decoder (32), fifth logical element AND (35), amplifier (36) and resistor (18) and transmitter connection circuit incorporating line and signal relay contacts and transmitter relay winding (15).

EFFECT: higher reliability of data transmission ensured by ruling out faults in operation of locomotive automatic signaling circuitry in running over shorter track circuits.
