FIELD: petroleum processing, fuels.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out catalytic cracking of petroleum fractions in the presence of aluminosilicate platinum-zeolite-containing catalyst consisting of 5-20 wt.-% of zeolite Y with the ratio SiO2 : Al2O3 from 4.5 to 9.5 and 80-95% of aluminosilicate base consisting of 40-95 wt.-% of amorphous aluminosilicate and 5-60 wt.-% of aluminum oxide comprising aluminum oxide in α-Al2O3 form, 85 wt.-%, not above, and 10-20 wt.-% of aluminum oxide in low-temperature modifications. Catalyst has the following chemical composition, wt.-%: aluminum oxide, 15.5-62.3; rare-earth element oxides, 0.5-4.0; platinum, 0.0001-0.001; iron oxide, 0.1-0.4; calcium oxide, 0.1-0.5; sodium oxide, 0.1-0,5; silicon oxide, the balance. Invention provides elevating yield of cracked-gasoline.
