FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: motor frame 1 has lengthwise disposed hold-down piece with flexible cup underneath. Hermetically sealed cavity formed by hold-down piece, main and additional cups is filled with moisture-proof insulating petroleum jelly injected therein under pressure. Air gap enlarging towards air vent is formed between butt-ends of fan blades and frame surface. Additional support secured on one of external sides of frame functions to provide additional fixation of motor frame to load-carrying parts of electric drive. Commutator hatches 10, 11 and respective lids 12, 13 are provided on adjacent sides of frame whose external surfaces are curvilinear. Each commutator-hatch lid is flexible structure secured at one end on frame by means of easily split joints 14 and at other end it is coupled through braces 15 with adjacent end of other commutator-hatch lid. When in working position, lids 12 and 13 compress motor frame 1 due to their flexibility and follow frame shape. Field windings are wound on pole shoes for their tight contact with internal surfaces of frame, these pole shoes being rectilinear in pole-to-winding contact zone.
EFFECT: reduced size and enhanced power output of motor.
