FIELD: electrical engineering; salient-pole induction motors for driving domestic electrical appliances.

SUBSTANCE: novelty is that single-phase induction motor incorporating split stack of stator core with two pole stacks provided with pole shoes and interconnected by means of variable-section saturable jumpers, and yokes assembled of steel sheets, as well as rotor installed in stator bore, stator running winding built of coils wound on poles, and auxiliary winding in the form of pole shaders placed in stator slots has its mentioned sheets of yoke and stator core poles assembled in stacks with aid of at least three pairs of rivets; one of two pairs of yoke rivets are disposed on line coinciding with pole axis and other pair of yoke rivets, as well as third pair of pole rivets, on different lines not coinciding with pole axis nor with line perpendicular to the latter, on opposite side of rotor axis of revolution; acute angles between lines disposed on axes of second and third pairs of rivets range between 65 and 890 and between 5 and 150, respectively; ratio of rotor diameter to width of each sheet of stator yoke is between 1 : 2.1 and 1 : 2.3.

EFFECT: improved quality of stator core assembly, enhanced motor efficiency, reduced size and metal input.
