FIELD: driving pumps and compressors for gases and liquids. SUBSTANCE: electric motor magnetic circuit enables its operation with aid of simple electronic device. Motor has four U-shaped yokes that form eight irregularly distributed poles with six-pole revolving rotor disposed in-between. Motor is controlled by means of two high-power semiconductors and one Hall-effect transducer. Demagnetizing energy released during disconnection of power windings is conveyed through diodes to auxiliary windings of next phase as pre-magnetization energy.
