SUBSTANCE: double-section dc inductor generator has frame 1 with front and rear end plates 2, and 3, respectively, accommodating journal bearings 4, 5; two stator stacks 6, 7 mounted in frame 1 and spaced apart by means of diamagnetic rings 8; shaft 9 that mounts two rotor stacks 10, 11 carrying dc field windings 12, 13; slip rings 14 with brush gear 15 mounted on shaft 9; power rectifier unit 16 built in frame by means of heat sinks and connected to windings 17, 18 wound on stator stacks 6, 7; and also cooling assembly for mentioned windings and heat sinks of power rectifier unit incorporating fan 19 mounted on extension of shaft 9. Novelty is that frame is provided with cylindrical bucket 20 mounted on rear end plate that forms annular chamber accommodating additional shaft-mounted twin fan 22 of mentioned cooling assembly incorporating cylindrical box 23 that forms additional annular chamber accommodating heat-sink plate yokes 27 disposed in fan-shaped manner in meridian planes.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of generator due to its effective cooling.
