FIELD: transmitting signal of data transfer speed control channel in mobile system including signal gating and retransmission.

SUBSTANCE: access terminal of mobile communication system transfers information about data transfer speed control signal pointing to one of chosen direct data transfer speed requested by access terminal to access network. The latter assigns length of information about data transfer speed control signal "data speed control signal length" pointing to number of time intervals during which this information is repeated and transfers assigned length of information to access terminal. The latter gates transfer of information about data transfer speed control signal to access network within one time interval for each length of information received from access network.

EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity.
