SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in clinical practice of oncological hospitals. Agent for topical application comprises an antitumor preparation taken in the amount 0.5-25.0 wt.-% included into resolving biopolymeric base. The base can be taken among collagen, gelatin and calcium alginate. Method for treatment and prophylaxis of tumor damage of liver and peritoneum is carried out by application of indicated medicinal agent during operation on diaphragmatic liver surface or the zone wherein topical removal of metastasis is carried out. New agent and method for treatment provide the prolonged dosed sustained-release of an antitumor preparation and exceeding index of metastatis inhibition.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of agent, improved and enhanced method for treatment and prophylaxis.
