FIELD: hoisting and transport engineering, in particular, emergency evacuation of people from high-rise buildings.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has elastic rescue hose, whose upper end is fixed on construction exit hatch. Apparatus is provided with automatic evacuation speed regulator made in the form of resilient unit introduced tightly into hose cavity and composed of two thermal bimetallic plates oriented along hose, curved in opposite directions and pivotally connected by their ends. Active layers of said plates are facing outside toward hose inner surface. Plates are connected with one another at site, where said plates are arranged in maximally remote relationship with respect to one another by partly twisted thermal bimetallic helical spring provided with portions made of low-heat conductivity material, said portions being arranged at sites of attachment to said plates. Mechanism for fastening object to be evacuated is positioned in lower part of resilient unit in the vicinity of pivot joint.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced operational safety.
