FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment, particularly for extinguishing difficult-to-extinguish fires from remote location.

SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding container from redirection chamber towards turbine by electrically-driven pusher; centering container by orientators; pushing container into vortex tube of turbine and exerting vortex flow influence upon container; rotating containers into barrel along with continuous movement thereof by moving flow in gas or liquid medium. Fire-extinguishing plant has fire-extinguishing device with barrel rotating in vertical and horizontal planes. Barrel in barrel frame is connected with turbine for container rotation and movement inside barrel. Vortex tube in turbine is connected with system of vortex forming channels. Turbine is joined with redirection means and with accumulator magazine. Containers are formed as cylindrical capsules and filled with fire-extinguishing agent. Containers also have igniters and explosion charges.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of fire and explosion suppression, universality of fire-extinguishing agents application, increased intensity of container delivery to fire site, increased volume and area covered with fire-extinguishing agent.
