Abstract RU 2179048 C2

FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguisher has fire- extinguishing device rotating in vertical plane, column and platform rotating in horizontal plane. Fire-extinguishing device has extendable nozzles: first group of smooth surface telescopic nozzles movable independently in longitudinal direction, second group of riffled nozzles, and third group of central nozzles having smooth surface and riffled parts. Central nozzle is inserted with its smooth surface part into first group of nozzles and with its riffled part into second group of nozzles. Each pair of nozzles in two groups of nozzles has movable end joint allowing riffled nozzle to be pivoted relative to smooth surface nozzle. Second group of nozzles has drive for rotation and longitudinal displacement of nozzles along common axis. Mechanisms for interconnecting attachment of nozzles are mounted on projecting part of riffled nozzles. Locking sleeve equipped with axial motion drive is housed in casing of closure mechanism. Detachable mechanism for supplying and discharge of extinguishing liquid is positioned on the outside of locking sleeve. Hose is connected to this mechanism. Fire-extinguisher of such construction may be used for localizing combustion sources, for operative suppressing and extinguishing of complicated and vast fire sources.
