METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF A BOOKLET, THE BOOKLET MANUFACTURED ACCORDING TO THE METHOD AND A BOOKLET Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of booklets of the identity cards type.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a method of manufacture of the booklet, such as an identification card (ID card). The method provides, that the booklet of the ID card type will consist of several sheets of a paper (4) and a material for a cover (3), and each sheet has the face and back sides. Each side contains two pages. The sheets of paper are joined to each other along the line between the pages. Material for the cover is affixed to the outer side of the booklet, and sheets of the paper are bent to form a back of the booklet. Then a strip (2) is affixed inside the booklet in the same way as the sheets of a paper were affixed to each other. Using a tool they fix a plate (1) to the strip. At that the plate is manufactured at least in part out of a synthetic material and has the face and the back sides. Each of the sides contains one page. At that the mechanical fixation of the plate is made permanent and performed by means of gripping / clamping. So the higher level of protection against fakes of such booklets as the identification cards is provided.

EFFECT: the invention allows to raise the level of protection against fakes of such booklets as the identification cards.
