FIELD: manufacture of reflective surfaces of parabolic antennae.
SUBSTANCE: method involves knitting reflective surfaces by single or double weft knitting, regular or irregular pressed or single combined irregular fancy weavings, with metal threads preliminarily wound-around by textile threads or twisted with textile threads directly in knitting systems being used for knitting thereof; removing textile threads upon completing of knitting process. Single metal threads are micro wires of about 40 microns thickness. Metal threads are laid in knitted systems so that they form meshed field with meshes of different shape in reflective knitted netted surface of antenna, said field having repeated pattern of predetermined vertical and horizontal sizes. Average linear module of loops during manufacture of netted surface are δ i,j>60.
EFFECT: increased elasticity, reduced metal usage and labor intensity at knitting stage owing to elimination of thread warping operation.
