FIELD: manufacture of reflecting surfaces of parabolic antennas. SUBSTANCE: metal threads forming the surface are wound with textile threads, 5-16.7 tex thick, and microscopic wire of maximum 30 mcm in thickness is used for elementary metal threads. Upon knitting textile threads are removed by evaporation, dissolution, or burning-out and metal frame is covered with high-conductance coating that provides for reducing electrical resistance of mesh surface; to this end gold- or nickel-plating is used. Mesh surface is knitted by two-guide bar warp plating or warp fillet knitting with both complete and incomplete order of threading of metal threads. During manufacture of mesh surface linear module of loop is selected from one of minimal patterns of threading order constituting its interweaving so that in ready surface it were σ = 80-120 at Rbar = 1 and σ = 85-170 at Rbar≥2. EFFECT: enhanced flexibility and reflectance of knitted mesh surface with cells of different configurations and sizes. 4 cl, 2 dwg
