FIELD: oil producing, petrochemical, chemical pharmaceutical, food and other industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in hydraulic operated positive displacement pumping units used for handling aggressive, badly contaminated or extremely pure liquids. Proposed pumping unit contains two working chambers, each accommodating fixed divider made of elastic material. Spool installed in housing of each working chamber is connected with corresponding divider so that value of spool displacement is proportional to value of displacement of part of divider to which spool is connected. Pumping unit contains also pump for delivering working liquid made for control of delivery by volume, and hydraulic distributor. Each spool is made for overlapping channel connecting corresponding working chamber and hydraulic distributor in position corresponding to first preset position of divider. Pumping unit contains also means for changing hydraulic distributor from one state to the other when divider of corresponding working chamber attains preset position. Invention makes it possible to improved reliability and increase service life of proposed pumping unit owing to simplified means of control of hydraulic drive and making said means without members exposed to material mechanical war, prevention of action of aggressive handled liquid onto friction surfaces of pumping unit and damage to elastic divider by working liquid of hydraulic drive and handled liquid in case of failures of controls of pumping unit hydraulic drive.
