RADAR INTERROGATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2234109 C1

FIELD: radar equipment, in particular, interrogators of systems with an active response.

SUBSTANCE: the device uses a channel containing a directional coupler and a reply signal conditioner making it possible to measure the time and take into account the signal delay time in the interrogator receiver, and a controllable attenuator changing the level of radiated power, depending on the distance between the interrogator and the transponder.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement of distance by radar systems with an active reply, which enhances the accuracy of the aids of extra-trajectory measurements required for tests of high-accuracy weapon.
