SUBSTANCE: disclosed system has, connected by a two-way communication channel, a receive/transmit antenna-feeder device with a total-differential beam pattern and a signal reception/transmission switch, series-connected encryption device and transmitter, the latter connected by the output to the switch, and series-connected receiver and decoder, wherein the input of the receiver is connected to the output o the switch, as well as a "query-response" conformity unit and a display unit, series-connected mode setting device and control device, as well as a response signal evaluation device which is connected by the input to the decoder and by the output - in parallel with the second input of the display unit and a channel for transmitting the result on board the portable system, and a distribution unit for secondary electric power supply to component parts of the interrogator, connected to the electric network of the portable system. The control device has a unit for monitoring operating capacity of component parts of the interrogator.

EFFECT: high mimic resistance, noise immunity and resolution of the interrogator, possibility of working with radar stations on vehicles.
