SUBSTANCE: magnetooptical rotator of proposed isolator is mechanically designed so that it repeatedly passes optical beam and is disposed in longitudinal magnetic field of axially magnetized magnetic system with the result that mass and size of the latter are reduced.
EFFECT: enhanced commercial attributes due to reduced size and mass of axially magnetized magnetic system.
