FIELD: optical equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed optical valve can be used as element of optical decoupling. It includes magnetic system, dichroic polarizer, magnetooptical rotator placed into magnetic field of magnetic system, first quarter-wavelength plate located between dichroic polarizer and magnetooptical rotator and second quarter-wavelength plate arranged between magnetooptical rotator and dichroic analyzer positioned in series. Input butt of magnetooptical rotator is bevel. Bevel angle is such that condition of total internal reflection for flyback of ray is fulfilled on this butt and as result of it flyback ray deviates from optical axis. EFFECT: increased reliability thanks to ray stability. 2 dwg
