FIELD: medicine, veterinary science, pharmacy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical composition comprising ondansetron, methacine and benzamide. The composition comprises ondansetron, i. e. 1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-[(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-4H-carbazol-4-one or its hydrates, or its salts (I), benzamide (benzoic acid amide) (II) or its derivatives, and methacine (benzylic acid 2-dimethylaminoethyl ester iodomethylate) (III) taken in the definite ratio. The composition can be used in medicinal or veterinary practice for prophylaxis and treatment of nausea and vomiting of different etiology, in particular, caused by effect of ionizing radiation. Invention provides the improvement of anti-vomiting activity.
