FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing ondansetron (1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-9- methyl-3-[(2-methyl-1H-imidazole-1-yl] -4H-carbazol-4-one) or its hydrates or its salts (I) and methacine (benzylic acid 2-dimethylaminoethyl ester iodomethylate) (II) taken in the ratio of components from 1.5:1 to 60:1, respectively. The pharmaceutical composition can be used in medicinal practice for treatment of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea and it shows an advantage with respect to antiemetic and antidiarrhea effect.
