FIELD: chemical, medicine, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses for getting distilled water. Proposed distiller is made in form of multistage apparatus whose cooler, evaporators and condensers are formed by cylindrical shells nested one into the other. Evaporators are interconnected by channels through which subsequent stages are fed with water and required water level is maintained. Condensers are also interconnected by channels along which distillate is passed in steps by stages of apparatus, thus reducing its temperature potential. One of peculiarities is that shells are arranged horizontally. When steam flows over superheated cylindrical surface, good separation of water drops takes place in slot clearance, thanks to which no additional separators are required.
EFFECT: provision of economy, good adaptability to manufacture, convenience in operation and repair.
