SUBSTANCE: invention relates to components of prepolymeric catalyst used for polymerization of olefins CH₂=CHR wherein R represents hydrogen atom or (C₁-C₁₂)-alkyl group, to catalysts prepared from them and their using in polymerization of mentioned olefins. Invention describes a component of prepolymeric catalyst comprising solid component of catalyst containing Ti, Mg, halogen and electrodonor compound. Using this component is able to prepare propylene homopolymer under standard conditions of polymerization that is characterized with insolubility degree in xylene at 25 C exceeding 90%. These components are used in reaction for preparing prepolymer from ethylene that provides preparing amount of ethylene prepolymer up to 100 g per 1 g of mentioned solid component of catalyst. Indicated electrodonor compound is an internal donor taken among simple 1,3-diethers. Invention describes also method for preparing component of prepolymeric catalyst, catalyst comprising component of prepolymeric catalyst, alkylaluminium compound and, optionally, one or more electrodonor compounds, and method for polymerization of olefins using this catalyst. Invention provides high catalytic activity, high index of isotacticity and stability against aging.
