SUBSTANCE: method of producing a solid catalyst component for (co) polymerization of olefins CH₂=CHR, where R is a hydrocarbon radical having from₁ to 12 carbon atoms, in some cases in a mixture with ethylene containing Ti, Mg, Zn, Cl and an electron-donor compound, in which Zn atoms are formed from one or more Zn compounds not having Zn-carbon bonds, more than 50% of titanium atoms are in the valence of +4 and the amount of Zn is from 0.2 to 3.5 wt % of the total weight of the said solid catalyst component and the amount of Ti is from 1.1 to 2.5 wt %, where the method comprises reacting a titanium compound of the formula Ti(OR)_q-yX_y, where q is a valence of titanium, y is a number between 1 and q, with magnesium chloride formed from the adduct of the formula MgCl₂⋅pROH, where p is a number between 0.1 and 6, and R is a hydrocarbon radical containing 1-18 of carbon atoms, where the reaction is carried out in the presence of an electron-donor compound and in which the Zn compound is directly incorporated into the adduct of MgCl₂⋅pROH. The catalyst comprises a product produced by reacting: (i) a solid catalyst component according to clause 9 or prepared according to the method of any of the subclauses. 1-8, and (ii) alkyl aluminium compounds, and (iii) in some cases an external electron-donor compound.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the stereospecific reaction of the catalyst component.
