FIELD: water supply systems, particularly in districts without centralized water supply.
SUBSTANCE: water supply system comprises cold water store tank having cold water feeding pump and level detector, and hot water tank connected in series with cold water tank through check valve and having temperature sensor. Tanks for cold and hot water are arranged in closed box with heat-insulated walls. Closed box have orifices in upper wall thereof through which connection pipes equipped with heat-insulated covers are inserted. Connection pipes are secured to top parts of both tanks. Level detector is made as float commutator, which switches off said pump and switches on water heating device when cold water reaches predetermined maximum level into tank. When cold water reaches predetermined minimum level into tank, float commutator switches on above pump and switches off water heating device. Check valve have drainage orifice communicating with drainage orifice of removable jet. Method of water supply involves using above water supply system, which simultaneous interrupts water accumulation and begins water heating process and then initiates water accumulation with interrupted water heating process.
EFFECT: increased simplicity of water supply, improved reliability at any season, enhanced convenience, possibility of uninterrupted hot and cold water supply at any weather conditions.
