FIELD: gel-forming compositions used for hydrocarbon field development.
SUBSTANCE: method involves obtaining mixture by diluting acid with mineralized liquid, namely mineralized water including sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride with liquid phase density of not less than 1.12 g/sm3; solving nepheline-containing additive in above mixture. Concentrated nepheline, nitric, sulfuric, hydrochloric and orthophosphoric acids are used for gel-forming composition preparation. Delivered acids are diluted with aqueous solutions of above salts up to concentration of 5% - 20% and then nepheline-containing additive is added in amount of 1 part by weight of nepheline-containing additive per 4-15 parts by weight of mineralized acid solution. The ready product is stirred for 1 hour.
EFFECT: simplified technology of gel-forming composition preparation due to eliminating the necessity to maintain strict nepheline-acid ratio of 1:1, extended field of application, particularly for high-permeability bed insulation, reduction of water cuttings of well production, possibility of insulating lost-circulation zone in injection wells, for waterproofing another beds including those formed by non-carbonate rock and cement around boring casing, possibility of liquid waste hardening.
