FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: hydro-isolating composition - HIC can be used for prevention and elimination of troubles at construction and operation of wells. Hydro-isolating composition contains wt shares: nepheline containing material 1.5-20% water solution of strong acid 4-15, alcohol additive 0.40-2.25. Hydro-isolating composition also can contain this hydro-isolating composition HIC in form of dry HIC at amount of 0.4-3.0 wt shares. The procedure for production of hydro-isolating composition consists in mixing wt shares: 5-20% water solution of strong acid 4-15 and alcohol additive 0.40-2.25 with successive introduction of 1 wt share of nepheline containing material and dry HIC - waste of hydro-isolating composition obtained by mixing wt shares: of nepheline containing material 1 with mixture of 5-20% water solution of strong acid 4-15 and alcohol additive 0.40-2.25 into produced mixture.
EFFECT: accelerated gel formation and its increased resistance to influence of alkali medium.
