FIELD: burial of liquid waste including radioactive waste in the form of brine in underground chambers constructed in deposits of rock salt. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with invention brine is solidified directly in underground salt chamber by way of its treatment in layers with salt-resistant solidifying compound which is injected into brine through rotary sprinkler. Treatment of brine in layers with solidifying compound is carried out with successive movement of rotary sprinkler from lower treated layer into upper untreated layer which is then injected with solidifying salt-resistant compound. Brine solidification is conducted in sequence from below upwards till underground salt chamber is filled with solidified brine completely. Salt-resistant solidifying compound is supplemented with brine subject to solidification or fluid containing hydrocarbons. EFFECT: simplified implementation of technique, enhance safety of burial. 2 cl, 1 dwg
