FIELD: furnaces, mainly domestic furnaces using different fuel and having brick-made housing.
SUBSTANCE: door assembly includes door mounted with possibility of rotation; frame arranged in port of furnace housing and having members for providing door rotation; unit for fastening frame to furnace housing having fastening members (each member is partially arranged in through opening of frame and partially secured to housing of furnace); heat resistant compensating material arranged along perimeter of frame between wall of housing port and frame. Frame has thickness 3 - 15 mm. Axes of threaded holes of frame are arranged normally relative to its lateral surfaces. As heat resistant compensating material basalt wool, refractory sealant or elastic ceramics is used. Through openings of frame are threaded ones. Cylindrical fastening members have outer thread along all their length; said thread corresponds to that of frame openings. Recesses provided in furnace housing are filled with compensating material. End portions of fastening members protruded out of frame are screwed into compensating material.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability, simplified procedure for mounting-dismounting door.
