FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed method and device relate to electric measuring equipment and can be used for measurement of electric energy in conditions of alternating current for purposes of commercial accounting and detection of fact and type of power theft, for example, on objects of agroindustrial complex. Device implementing proposed method comprises phase current sensor (1), zero current sensor (2), phase current sensor (3) connected to phase conductor before insertion into structure, load voltage sensor (4) connected in parallel to load (5), multipliers (6, 7, 8), mathematical processing unit (9), indicator (10), remote information transmission unit (11), modulating code shaper (12), high frequency generator (13), phase manipulator (14), power amplifier (15) and transmitting antenna (16). Control point comprises receiving antenna (17), high frequency amplifier (18), first (19) and second (39) mixer, search unit (20), first (21) and second (38) heterodynes, intermediate frequency amplifier (22), phase doubler (selector) (25), comparator unit (27), threshold unit (28), delay lines (29), switch (30), demodulators (31 and 40) of PSK signals, multipliers (32, 33, 41 and 42), narrow-band filters (34 and 43), low-pass filters (35 and 44), registration unit (36), phase inverters (45 and 46), subtraction unit (47).

EFFECT: high authenticity and reliability of remote measurement of consumed power and detection of presence, type and time of its theft by suppression of false signals (interference) received through additional channels, and attenuation of narrow-band interference received along the main channel.
