FIELD: microwave engineering; verifying microwave devices in coaxial transmission lines.

SUBSTANCE: direct current is supplied to proposed device through central conductor of matched load formed by dc conductor and bulk absorbing material enclosing it. With such dc current supply waves produced in microwave conductor are absorbed in load and spikes of voltage standing-wave ratio are completely eliminated.

EFFECT: provision for suppressing unwanted microwave oscillations in current conductor and for eliminating unwanted voltage standing-wave ratio spikes.
