FIELD: electrical engineering; pulsed charging of batteries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system has dc power supply, pulse generator, distributor, switching unit, control circuits, transistor switches, reference-voltage supply, NAND circuit, and switching member. System provides for pulsed charging of storage battery at the same time monitoring its state of charge. Battery cells are charged in sequence, this process speeding up toward last cells.
EFFECT: enhanced service life of system, reduced control-circuit power consumed due to its disconnection in absence of battery charging request.
