FIELD: electrical engineering; controlling electromagnetic valves, contactors, relays, and the like.
SUBSTANCE: electromagnet has one coil, two hollow stops accommodating two movable cores pulled away to their extreme positions by means of springs. Armature with rod passed through holes in movable cores is coupled with load. Throw-over spring is used for holding armature in one of working positions. Armature is pressed to one of cores in one of its extreme positions by means of throw-over spring and together with core, to rest. Other movable core is pulled away to its extreme position and resides inside second hollow stop so that loose armature end is attracted to second stop as soon as current pulse is applied to coil winding. Electromagnetic attraction force applied to second movable core is low and will increase with armature displacement. At certain position of armature spring changes direction of force action and starts acting cumulatively with armature-actuating electromagnetic force. Then electromagnetic force applied between armature butt-end and second movable core rises to value sufficient for attracting this movable core to armature thereby ceasing impact of electromagnetic force, and after that armature will move together with two movable cores up to rest.
EFFECT: reduced mass and size, simplified control circuit arrangement.
