FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: single-coil electromagnet contains a cylindrical magnetic circuit, a control coil, an anchor with a rod connected to the load, two hollow stacks installed at the ends of the magnetic circuit with a movable core placed in one of them with a central hole for the rod. Mentioned anchor and movable core are pressed into their extreme positions and fixed by means of compression springs, forming air gaps relative to their end surfaces, at certain values of which the direction of the force acting on the armature changes. The movable core is made with an internal cavity and with an external annular protrusion contacting the end surface of the hollow stack through the formed end surface. The anchor rod is provided with an annular shoulder spring-loaded in the direction of the anchor. The flange is installed with the possibility of axial displacement in the inner cavity of the movable core, held in the extreme position by a spring-loaded anchor, which occupies an intermediate position and forms an air gap between one of its end surfaces and the end surface of the movable core δ1. Between the other end surface of the anchor and the end surface of the hollow stop, there is an air gap δ2, and δ2 > δ1.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of a single-coil electromagnet due to the bidirectional translational movement of the armature during the flow of a current pulse in the control coil.
