FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out producing opening in conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule 5 mm far from the limbus. Hemostatic solution is introduced under the Tenon's capsule via the opening. The second opening is produced 5-8 mm far from the first one in 30-60 s and viscoelastic solution is introduced. Arc-shaped incision is done in the conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule between the openings. The incision is convex towards the limbus. Arc-shaped incisions in conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule are drawn in turn from each opening to the limbus, the incisions being arranged in a way their convexity make them approach each other.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; tear flow being directed towards tear lake to protect against dry eye syndrome occurrence.
