FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the intramuscular administration of glucocorticoids followed by in 15 min administration of suspension consisting of 700000 cells of brain and retina fetal in the embryonal liquor solution with vitreous body in volume 1.0-1.5 ml by retrobulbar route. The suspension comprises 30% of ophthalmic nerve cells, 10% of retina cells, 30% of chiasma opticus cells, and 30% of the vision cortical center.
EFFECT: reduced time for treatment.
