FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for evaluation of quality of porous materials. According to proposed method, specimen is placed in cell dividing it into working and measuring chambers, and vacuum is built in chambers. Working chamber is connected with atmosphere. Change of pressure, temperature and pressure increment within preset time period in measuring chamber are measured. Each pressure increment is compared with preset increment. Time is recorded during which value of following pressure increment becomes equal to preceding increment, and pressure value in measuring chamber within fixed period is measured. Temperature in working chamber is measured, and temperatures in both chambers are maintained equal during entire process. Coefficients of filtration, penetration, diffusion, solubility and porosity are calculated by design equations.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of method and processing capabilities by provision of possibility of revealing parameter of porosity of difficult-to-penetrate materials.
