FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method includes determining and comparing parameters of concrete specimens characterizing their physical properties after drying and under the complete water saturation condition and estimating the coefficient of crack resistance KCR from the comparison of the parameters. The parameters are the values of surface energy measured after drying up to the stabilization of mass uDR and in the condition of complete water saturation at the atmospheric pressure uWS. The coefficient is calculated from the formula KCR=uWS/uDR .
EFFECT: simplified method.
