Abstract RU 2235397 C2

FIELD: electrical engineering, namely apparatuses for melting glaze on wires and ropes of power transmission overhead lines.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes one-phase converter, additional three-phase transformer, circuit breakers and phase of overhead line selected for melting ice glaze. Capacitor gang is connected with DC voltage terminals of one-phase converter; back diodes are connected with fully controlled gates. AC terminal of one-phase converter connected to ground is connected in parallel with lightning protection rope.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of simultaneous melting of glaze on wires and ropes of power transmission lines without any disconnection of users.
