METHOD FOR PREDICTING CONTRACTILE ACTIVITY OF UTERINE TUBES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2235509 C1

FIELD: medicine, gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: after finishing salpingoovariolysis (salpingostomy) under hysteroscopic control one should conduct catheterization of proximal section of isthmic department of uterine tube that is visually proved with the help of laparoscope. Then comes fixation of tubal catheter onto ipsilateral internal femoral surface due to plaster. Similarly, one should perform catheterization of counterlateral mouth of uterine tube. Artificial hydroperitoneum is created with the help of isotonic solution of sodium chloride stained with indigocarmine. One should evaluate passability and contractile activity of uterine tube in 24 h. Visualization of stained physiologiocal solution in catheter's lumen is considered to be the sign for functional normalization of patient's uterine tube. The method enables to predict efficiency of laparoscopy in early postoperational period after carrying out salpingoovariolysis (salpingostomy) in early postoperational period, shorten interval between operation and the onset of pregnancy.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics.
