FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed catalyst contains 60.0-80.0% of iron-aluminosilicate with h-silica ZSM-5 zeolite structure having silicate module SiO2/Al2O3 = 20-160 and ratio SiO2/Fe2O3 = 30-5000; 0.1-10.0% of modifying additive selected from at least group of oxides: copper, zinc, gallium, lanthanum, molybdenum, and rhenium oxides; 0.5-5.0% of strengthening additive: boron oxide or phosphorus oxide, or mixtures thereof; and balancing amount of alumina binder. Catalyst is prepared by dry mixing of initial compounds followed by mechanochemical treatment on vibrating mill for 0.1 to 72 h, molding of catalyst paste, drying, and heat treatment at 550-600оС during 0.1 to 24 h. Catalytic conversion of aliphatic C2-C12-hydrocarbons is carried out at 300-550оС at volumetric flow rate 0.5 to 5.0 h-1 and pressure from 0.1 to 1.5 MPa.

EFFECT: increased activity and selectivity of catalyst and considerably increased yield of antiknock gasoline and/or aromatic hydrocarbons.
