FIELD: metalloorganic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for preparing dicopper (II) ethylenediaminetetraacetate relates to chemistry of chelate compounds with organic substances. Product prepared by this method can be used for protection of equipment against corrosion in petroleum-extracting and petroleum-processing industry and for control of sulfate-reducing microorganisms in system of reusable water supply, as a fungicide and copper microfertilizer in agriculture, for preparing electrolytes in chemical and galvanic plating, for preparing other copper (II) chelate compounds with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Dicopper (II) ethylenediaminetetraacetate is prepared by crystallization from solution at pH from 2.3 to 6.0 preferably obtained by mixing copper (II) solution with spent solution of chemical copper plating based on Trilon B taken in the amount providing the mole ratio ethylenediaminetetraacetate : copper (II) = 1.0:(2.0-5.0). Technical result of proposed method for preparing dicopper (II) ethylenediaminetetraacetate a reduced cost of product, retention of its purity and simultaneous utilization of toxic waste in radioelectronic industry - spent solution of chemical copper plating of printing boards.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, reduced cost, utilization of industrial waste.
